When these brackets began, on paper, the greatest part was the discussion of the matchups. Whether its defending your choice by coming up with a highly imagined well-thought out case, or equally putting down someones opposite view. Commenting using this Tumblr based website is something of an issue. Without comments or discussions, these matchups become less fun. I decided to rectify this situation by moving this blog from Tumblr to Wordpress, that has an improved commenting section. The new site is registered at ENGHO.NET. It has everything. Try him, well don’t, he is Batman and a bit temperamental. Batman’s Utility Belt has all of his gadgets, grappling guns, batarangs, bat-tracers, bat-darts, bat grenades, bat-tazers. For all intent and purposes he may even have a miniature Batman in there like a bat-Russian nesting doll of bat-fists in your face.
Whenever you hear the phrase pulled that out of hat, a Gryffindor might actually pull the Sword of Godric Gryffindor out of a hat, specifically the Sorting Hat. Nice magic trick, huh. Its goblin made, so its super strong and sharp, and poisonous due to killing a giant Basilisk. And it had the ability to kill a piece of Voldemort’s soul. Nifty ain’t it.

The Devil May Cry Doom
So, a demon makes a sword inorder to stop evil, something that a demon doesn’t typically do. This Sparda person, demon, whatever, makes this sword Sparda or Force Edge, yeah the sword is named after him, what’s it to you? The sword has, you guessed it, demonic powers. In general the sword was created by a demon, for good, and after it was re-awakened, by a guy named Dante, now has god-like power.
Sometimes initials are the only thing you need to know the kind of weapon you have in your hands. BFG, The Big Fucking Gun. Slow to warm up but can pack a punch capable of killing horrid monsters in just one shot. It just a big fucking gun, what else do I have to say, its all in the name.

Even though the Schwartz Ring was found in a Cracker Jack box. Even though it is only a Star Wars parody. Even though it could get all tangled with your opponents. Even though someone could control the Schwartz without wearing the ring. It was still powerful enough to make a sorta-lightsaber emit from your crotch. What else could you want?
A Green Lantern Corp Power Ring, I know, its a mouthful, and that’s what she said, and I’m really pushing the comma quotient in a sentence already, anywho, can pretty make anything you want into a weapon. Giant green boxing glove, check. Giant green elephant, check. Giant green slingshot, check. By using willpower a Green Lantern can emit solid-light constructs, create a force field, flight, universal translator, communicator, even become a superhero tailor. It does a lot.

Flower or the Frog
One of the weapons many gamers first used was just an innocent looking flower. Not just any flower, a nifty flower that lets you throw fire. Toasty. How the Fire Flower from Super Mario Brothers works, nobody knows or cares. Give it to a stereotypical Italian plumber stuck in a world of toadstools, walking mushrooms, pipes, people throwing spiky turtles from clouds and of course princesses, he becomes a one man flaming wrecking crew.
The Masamune is a sword wielded by a frog in a suit of armor. I could stop there, or just repeat it several times as if I had to write it 20 times on a chalk board, but alas, no. The Masamune from Chrono Trigger bestows upon its users not just a powerful attack weapon, but one with mystical abilities that will heal themselves as well. But its also a sword wielded by a frog in a suit of armor.

Mick “Crocodile” Dundee only needed one weapon to survive the Australian bush, his trusty knife. His long bladed knife was suitable for almost anything, from killing and skinning a crocodile to unknowingly threatening a street thug.

The Spear of Destiny, or Holy Lance, is supposedly the weapon used to pierce the side of Jesus as he passed away on the cross. It has been used in many forms of media as a weapon and just as many powers. The power to heal, the power to kill, to show the sins of a person, erecting an impenetrable barrier immortality and the general ability to rule the world are counted among its powers.
Opposing this religious relic is a robotic arm cannon wielded by Mega Man. The Mega Buster is Mega Man’s standard issue weapon. It fires infinite compressed solar “bullets” that have penetrated and defeated a many robotic bosses and enemies of various sizes and strengths.
